Ingredientes
- chai sugar cookies
2 tbsp (approx) | 28g unsalted butter (room temperature)
2 tbsp (approx) | 27g canola oil
2 tbsp (approx) | 25g granulated sugar
1 tbsp (approx) |13g powdered sugar
half an egg (you can mix an egg and only add 1/4 of it)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
chai tea bag
1/2 cup | 60g all-purpose flour
a pinch of baking soda
a pinch of salt

⅓ cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp of heavy cream or milk
cinnamon (to sprinkle)
Instructions

- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Stir the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together the butter, canola oil, granulated sugar, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until they’re completely incorporated.
- Cut one chai tea bag open and empty a third of the crushed up tea leaves into the batter.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. The dough will be soft.
- Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour or freeze it for 15 minutes to make it easier to handle.
- Preheat the oven to 350F/175C.
- Scoop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8 to 12 minutes at 350F/175C, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool completely.

- Mix together the powdered sugar and heavy cream or milk.
- Add the icing on the cookies and lightly sprinkle cinnamon over the cookies.
