The perfect treats for Halloween.

Ingredients

  • Store-bought mini pound cakes (or any simple cake)

  • Nutella (or any frosting of your liking)

  • 1 package of white candy melts wafers

  • Lollipop sticks

  • Pumpkin-shaped sprinkles

  • Black edible marker

Instructions

  • Crumble the cake into a large bowl using your hands, a fork or a whisk.
  • Add a few tablespoons of Nutella to the crumbled cake. Mix well until the mixture is moist enough to hold together when shaped. If needed, add more Nutella.
  • Scoop out small amounts of the cake mixture and roll them into balls. For a ghostly effect, you can shape them slightly oval.
  • For the ghost arms, roll smaller pieces of the mixture and attach them to the body using a little melted candy. Let them set.
  • Melt a small amount of candy melts according to the package instructions.
  • Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted candy, then insert the stick into the center of each cake ball. Allow it to set for a few minutes to secure the stick.
  • Melt the remaining candy melts according to the package instructions.
  • Dip each cake pop into the melted candy, covering it completely. Gently tap off any excess candy.
  • While the coating is still wet, place pumpkin-shaped sprinkles on the side of each ghost’s arm to simulate a trick-or-treat basket. Let the coating set completely.
  • Once the coating is fully set, use the black edible marker to draw eyes and a mouth on each ghost. You can also add small handles to the “pumpkin baskets” for extra detail.
  • Enjoy your Halloween treats!
