The cutest strawberry crepes~ This recipe is part of a series recreating Cooking Mama recipes.

Ingredients:

  • Crepe batter
  • 154 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour

  • 2 eggs

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1-2 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ tsp sugar

  • 330 ml milk

  • 1-2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • Decoration
  • 1 cup cold heavy cream

  • 1-2 tbsp powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Sliced strawberries

  • Halved strawberries

Instructions:

  • Crepes
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, eggs, salt, vanilla extract, melted butter, and sugar.
  • Gradually beat in milk until a smooth batter forms, using a whisk or electric mixer.
  • Sift the batter into another bowl to ensure there are no lumps.
  • Heat a lightly buttered crepe pan over medium-high heat.
  • Pour or scoop the batter onto the pan, then tilt and rotate the pan to spread the batter thinly.
  • Cook until lightly browned on both sides, about 1-2 minutes per side. Set aside.
  • Decoration
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until medium peaks form.
  • Spread whipped cream over each crepe and arrange sliced strawberries. Fold the crepes and top each with additional whipped cream and garnish with halved strawberries (like in the video).
