Snoopy Nutella French Toast

Perfect Snoopy lovers sweet treat~

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)

  • 2 tablespoons Nutella

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1/2 tablespoon honey

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Butter for cooking

  • Optional toppings: honey, fresh strawberries

Instructions

  • Lightly flatten the middle of a slice of bread. Add 2 tablespoons of Nutella and cover with another slice of bread.
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Dip the Nutella sandwich into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side until well coated.
  • Preheat a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a knob of butter and swirl to coat the pan. Place the coated sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown on one side, about 2-3 minutes. Then, flip and cook the other side until golden brown and the Nutella is warm and gooey, about another 2-3 minutes.
  • I heated this Snoopy stamp with a kitchen blowtorch and scored the French toast!~
  • Transfer the cooked French toast to a plate. Optionally, drizzle with honey and top with fresh strawberries or other desired toppings.
