Almond Bear Shaped Cookies

minutesBear shaped almond cookies with pecan bellies.
INGREDIENTS
- Almond cookies
150 g unsalted butter (softened)
120 g glass of powdered sugar
Pinch of salt
1.5 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
50 g almond flour
300 g all purpose flour
- Decorations
12 Pecans or almonds for the bear’s belly
10 g chocolate
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix the butter, sugar and salt in a bowl.
- Add and stir the vanilla, egg and flours.
- Wrap the dough in plastic and let it rest in the fridge for an hour.
- Put flour on a clean surface and roll out the cookie dough, use a bear cookie cutter and put the pecan nut or almond in the “belly/center” of the bear.
- Place the cookies on a tray with wax paper and bake for 18 min at 170C or until the bottoms of the cookies are golden.
- Remove the tray from the oven and let the cookies cool completely.
- Melt chocolate in a pastry bag and make the bear’s faces.
